How to Use Your Library
Get a library Card
You may get a library card free of charge. You will need a photo ID and proof of your name and current physical .address. People under 18 will need a parent or guardian's approval. If there is more than one person in your family, you will be given a FAMILY CARD.
Find what you want
The card catalog contains an alphabetical listing of our books and materials. You may look them up by Author, Title, or Subject; write down the call number; find the book on the shelf. REMEMBER: Ask a librarian. We're happy to help.
If we don't have what you want or need
The staff will try to Interlibrary loan any item your request. Postage will be charged to return the book to its home library.
To check out materials
Take your material to the Check Out Desk. Your patron number is on file there. The staff will scan your items, and enter your date-due. Please be sure to notice when your materials are due back to the library. Different items have different check out periods.
Fines are calculated by the computer at 5¢ a day per library item.
