REGULAR MEETING
MAY 8, 2008
Pursuant to notice published in the Garden County News, the Oshkosh City Council met for regular session on May 8, 2008, at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor Gette announced the open meetings law is posted on the wall of the Council Chambers and available for public inspection.
Present were the Mayor, Larry Gette, City Council Members: Brian Moffat, Carol Lake, and Roger Gray. Absent: Jim Levick. Also attending: Bill Campbell, Administrator, J. Leef, Attorney, and LeAnn Brown, City Clerk.
Motion by Gray, seconded by Moffat, to approve the agenda and minutes of the previous meeting and waive the reading of the same. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Lake, seconded by Gray, to approve the following bills. Motion carried unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS:
The Mayor and Council went over the Health Board Report with Attorney Leef. The Health Board will meet again before the next regular meeting.
Junk Car Report: Posting of the five-day notice on the junk cars will begin next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
No Sheriff Report.
The Auditorium Rental Agreement was gone over. Motion by Lake, seconded by Gray, to make the following changes: #5. A description of the heat/air conditioner controls added and #6. Absolutely, no holes will be made and no tape used. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Moffat, seconded by Lake, to allow Sandhills Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) to rope off Main Street for their Poker Run on May 17th. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Moffat, seconded by Lake, to approve Larry Fiesterman's building permit for a cement and covered deck. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Lake, seconded by Gray, to adjourn the meeting at 8:47 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
