Garden County Deputies

The Sheriff's Office is the only local law enforcement agency in Garden County, providing services to Lisco, Lewllen and Oshkosh. Some of the duties of the Sheriff's Office are to enforce the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States and local municipal ordinances, respond to calls for assistance from citizens and other government agencies, investigate crimes committed in Garden County.

The Jail of the Garden County Sheriff's Office houses those convicted of criminal acts, and those arrested and awaiting trial. Along with taking care of inmates housed in the Garden County Jail, the staff of the jail have a double duty, they are also the dispatchers for the Sheriff's Department. The Jailer/Dispatcher's handle all radio transmissions, telephone calls and are the first point of contact for anyone calling the sheriff's office.
