January: 24th, 2007 Farm and Ranch Day
Farm and Ranch Day is held the third Wednesday of January each year. Vendors and merchants set up booths, tables and displays of all sorts. Food companies, utilities, seed companies, equipment sales and repair, stoves, cell phones, satellite dishes, insurance, real estate, community groups, all tout their wares. Anything to do with everyday farm and ranch life, needs and wants. (Rural and city life, too)

February 24, 2007 Oshkosh Volunteer Fire Department 55th Annual Pancake Supper
The food is delicious, and all you can eat. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee The proceeds from the pancake supper are used to provide materials and supplies for our firefighters that are not covered under departmental budgets.

May 5th, 2007 Catfish Classic Tournament
The tenth annual Catfish Classic is scheduled for May 5, 2007. Fishing will be permitted from the bank or from a boat on Lake McConaughy from Kingsley Dam west to the Oshkosh river bridge. Each two-person team will be allowed to weigh 10 catfish.

May 19 & 20th, 2007 Shut Up and Fish
The eighth annual Shut Up and Fish Walleye Tournament will be held May 19th and 20th, and is limited to the first 200 two-person teams. Daily payouts plus a big fish pot each day at Lewellen

May 19, 2007 Free Fishing and Park Entry Day
Free Fishing and Park Entry Day is held the Saturday prior to Memorial Day weekend. Legislation passed in 1996 authorized a Free Fishing and Park Entry Day in Nebraska. The day is designed to attract those who no longer fish or who have never fished and to give them an opportunity to do so without the need to purchase a license. North Platte River, Blue Creek, Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge, and nearby Lake McConaughy

June: (TBA), 2007 Cast and Blast
North Platte Valley Sportsman Club sponsors this youth fishing and shooting day. It is held the first weekend in June to coincide with the beginning of the National Fishing and Boating week.

June: 8, 9, 2007 Buffalo Canyon Retreat

June: 16, 2007 Open House
The Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge is hosting an Open House on June 16th from 10-3. Activities include, kids fishing at Smith Lake, airboat rides, Nebraska Humanities Council speaker, free lunch, facility tours, birding tours and a reptile exhibit.

July 3 Independence Day Street Dance
Main Street at Dusk. Dance, visit, find old aquaintances, and make many new friends! Entertainment for the whole family!

July 4 Independence Day Pancake Breakfast (EMT's)
6:30-10:00 a.m. Start your day early at the pancake feed sponsored by the Garden County EMT's. Bring the whole family for pancakes, eggs, sausages, juice and coffee. Delicious food for reasonable prices, and you'll be helping to fund a very important service. Held at the Oshkosh Fire Station ____ B Street.

July 4 Independence Day Celebrations
11:00 a.m Parade
12:00 Noon Lunch at the park includes mouthwatering smoked beef, chips, and beans. Free will donation
