This year, we will be combining our traditional Independance Day Celebrations and our 1910-2010 Centennial Celebrations in 4 action packed, fun filled days!
A Carnival down Main Street, a Big Top tent, Nightly Dances & Concerts, Food, Races, Banquets, Auctions, Parade, Fireworks, and more!

We would like to extend an extra Welcome! to all Garden County Alumni

Thursday- July 1st: 5:00 pm - Carnival Kick Off; 5:00 pm - Beer Garden & Brats open in Big Top North of Park; 8:00 pm - First Centennial Concert & Dance begins in Big Top
Friday- July 2nd: 9:00 am - sidewalk sales and vendors begin; 2:00 pm - set up and cooking for Beef Cook Off - City Park; 4:00 pm - Big Top Beer Garden Opens - North of City Park; 4:00 pm - Beef Cook Off Judging Complete; 4:00-6:00 pm - Beef Cook Off Ticket Sale and Samplings; 6:00 pm - Stiletto Races - Line-up south of Eagles Club downtown; 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm- Centennial Pool Party in honor of Oshkosh 100th Birthday; 9:00 pm - 1:00 am- Centennial Main Event - Westwind Concert in Big Top sponsored by Nebraska State Bank
Saturday-July 3rd: Early (time to be announced) - Centennial Race & Walk - adults& youth; 10:30 am - Let The Games Begin Downtown; 11:00 am - Big Top Beer Garden & Brats Opens - North of City Park; 1:00-2:30 pm - Double D Wranglers at the Silver Hill Museum - Cowboy music and Yodeling; 5:00-6:45 pm - Alumni Banquet Cocktail & Social hour begins - City Auditorium; 6:45 pm - Alumni Banquet begins; 8:45 pm - Alumni Auction in Big Top - World Champion Auctioneer Dean Schow; 9:15 pm -1:00 am - All Alumni Band Dance in Big Top
Sunday- July 4th: 6:30-10:00 am - Ambulance & EMT Pancake Feed ( location to be announced); 9:00 am - All Denominational Prayer Service in Big Top- sponsored by the Garden County Ministerial Association; 11:00 am - Fourth of July Parade; 12:00 Noon - Free BBQ sponsored by the Garden County Chamber - City Park; 12:00 Noon - Pie & Ice Cream- United Methodist Church in T’s n More; 12:00 Noon - Entertainment by Alice Bailey and Lou Coppersmith - Big Top; Time To be announced - Cheri Clark presentation of "The Courage to Continue" - Big Top; 1:00 pm - Softball and Baseball Alumni All Star vs. Current Team; 5:00 pm - Eastern Star Hamburger Feed in City Park; 7:00 pm -Watermelon Feed - at the Ball Diamond; 7:00 pm - Kids races at Ball Diamond - sponsored by Lions Club; 9:00 pm - Fireworks Display at the Baseball Diamond- sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce; 10.00 pm - City Wide Fireworks begin at the sound of the fire - whistle
