Please spruce up your own property, and if possible, help spruce up the town.
If you cannot haul your own items to the Yard Waste Site, please call City Hall at 772-3686.
All items that need hauled need to be at the back end of your property near the alley, or front curb side.
Bring your rakes, shovels, and pickup trucks. Volunteers are needed and will be greatly appreciated to help on Clean-Up Day.
Please meet at Oshkosh City Hall at 8:00 am for coffee and rolls.
A free lunch will be served to all volunteers at the Oshkosh Fire Hall.

May 6,7,8 - Invasive Species Control Summit (in Gering)

A complete watershed approach to Invasive Plant Control
This summit will be held at the Gering Civic Center on May 6th, 7th, 8th, it will be a three day summit with many speakers from around the nation, with tours of control sites and demonstrations of different kinds of chemical applications and mechanical removal of
Russian olive, Tamarisk (Saltcedar) and Phragmites. Registration forms and a tentative speakers/ agenda may be picked up at the Garden County Clerks office, brochure display at the Annex building, Oshkosh Toolhouse, NRCS office and DP' Service in Lewellen.
You can also register by phone (308) 635- 6700, or if you do not wish to attend all three days you can register at the door for each day you wish to attend at $25, without the meals for each day. For any one interested in participating in the summit you can contact the Harms Advanced Technology Center at (308) 635-6700 for more information. Registration prior to April 1 is $95, and $110 after that date. The cost for exhibitors is $150.

The Junkyard site accepts the following: Yard Waste, Wood, Metal, and Appliances.
These items must be separated into these categories, and deposited in the correct piles.
The Junkyard Site is open to all customers on the City of Oshkosh trash/alternate route.
If you need in the junkyard on the closed dates or times, you may stop at City Hall for a key.
There is a $20.00 deposit for the key. Any questions, call City Hall, 772-3686.
