Your Chamber of Commerce - Working for you and your community! The Garden County Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a big WELCOME to new and newly returned members for the 2008 Calendar Year.
Garden County Soldier Support *********** Have you ever thought, "Why should I invest in a Chamber of Commerce membership?" Basically, the Chamber is a voluntary membership organization that unites business with community members to work toward a common goal.The Garden County Chamber is a not- for-profit organization owned and operated by business leaders and individuals who care about our community. The Garden County Chamber's primary mission of being an Information Resource Center is threefold: to promote business growth in Garden County, to serve the community with personal and professional development opportunities, and to support the economic development and quality of life issues that benefit the Garden County businesses and communities. The three major populated areas of Garden County are Oshkosh, Lewellen, and Lisco, but membership is not restricted to just those areas. Anyone is eligible to become a member. Garden County Chamber holds regular meetings the 3rd Thursday of each month. Last year the Chamber sponsored Meet the Candidates" forums, a county-wide survey on business retention and expansion in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Committees are working diligently to move their ideas into action. The Chamber is PEOPLE. People just like you who realize that through this organization they can accomplish collectively what no one of them can do individually. We urge you to become an active Chamber member and help to make a difference in Garden County.
